Аннотация:More specifically, three areas were explored in this study: 1) participants’ motivations to become a teacher, 2) their perceptions about teaching professional characteristics, and 3) their teaching self-efficacy beliefs about content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and classroom management strategies. This book helps teacher educators gain insight into their own as well as other teacher education programs and goals and philosophies of these programs, which have been cultivated and developed from two very different settings. Thus,teacher educators of both countries will be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their own as well as the other’s teacher preparation programs. This book explored and compared American preservice teachers’ teaching self-efficacy beliefs with those of their Chinese counterparts.

Типы словарей

Главная задача толкового словаря – истолковать значение слов и их применение в речи, отграничить правильное от неправильного, показать связь слов со стилями языка, дать читателю сведения об особенностях падежных, родовых, залоговых, видовых и иных грамматических форм слова; попутно указывается, как слова пишутся и произносятся. Толковые словари, как правило (но не всегда), оказываются и нормативными, т.е. объясняющими слова в соответствии с требованиями литературно-языковых норм (норма применительно к языку – это выработанное при участии литературы и принятое обществом в качестве обязательного правило, регулирующее применение слова в речи, его написание, произношение и ударение). Так, все перечисленные толковые словари русского языка – нормативные, за исключением «Толкового словаря живого великорусского языка» В.И. Даля. Толковым словарям противостоят переводные, чаще всего двуязычные(скажем, русско-английский и англо-русский), а иногда многоязычные. В переводных словарях вместо толкования значений на том же языке даются переводы этих значений на другой язык, например, накалиться - become hea ed, назойливый – impor u a e, roublesom.
