Аннотация:As a route into algebra, patterns are emphasized in the middle school curriculum as an approach to algebra and provide transition for students from arithmetic thinking into algebraic thinking. Diagnostic assessment of student learning of patterns is helpful to the understanding of student abilities with solving pattern problems, and to teacher instruction and student learning. In a social-cognitive context, diagnostic assessment in the classroom context is an assessment event related to student motivation, task values, self-efficacy, and efforts. Further, it depicted classroom assessment related beliefs and behaviors including self-efficacy, task value, achievement goal orientations, effort, and learning strategies across the three assessment events. In the framework of Evidence Centered Design, this study developed three sets of assessment tasks to diagnose student learning of numeric patterns in a 9-week instruction period of patterns and functions in 8th grade math classes in an urban school district. Understanding the role of classroom assessment in student motivation and achievement is important to teachers and students.

Эволюция и происхождение человека

Функцию эту можно назвать «регулирующей», здесь идет речь о регулировании, по происхождению своему — межиндивидуальному. Функция, которая была раньше разделена между двумя индивидами, становится способом самоорганизации деятельности одного индивида, интерпсихическое действие превращается в интра-психическую саморегулирующуюся систему: и связано это с преобразованием суггестии в контрсуггестию. Образование этого третьего блока имеет свою эволюционную базу в высшей нервной деятельности у животных, и приходит к своему непосредственному кануну у палеоантропов (троглодитов). Но у Homo pre-sapie s происходит кардинальное преобразование — переход интердикции в суггестию. В морфологии головного мозга этому соответствует появление весьма развитого префронтального отдела лобной доли коры, в особенности верхней его части, за счет крутого уменьшения объема затылочной доли, которая в филогенезе троглодитид неуклонно и интенсивно развивалась. Именно тут, в префронтальном отделе, осуществляется подчинение действий человека словесной инструкции (идущей от другого или от самого себя) — оттормаживание остальных реакций и избирательная активизация нужных нейрофизиологических систем.
