Аннотация:Da gerade diese berufstaetige Zielgruppe meist nur sehr schmale Zeitfenster zu Fortbildungszwecken zur Verfuegung stehen hat, koennte E-Learning eine geeignete Vermittlungsmethode sein. Die Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) wurde Ende der 1980er Jahre entwickelt und gilt mittlerweile als Quasi-Standard fuer (prozessorientiertes) IT-Management. Im Anschluss wird ein didaktisches Konzept fuer die ITIL-Inhalte erarbeitet und der zugehoerige Prototyp vorgestellt. Ein besonders interessanter Aspekt ist hierbei die didaktische Transformation, also die Aufbereitung und interaktive Darstellung der doch eher theoretischen ITIL-Konzepte. Eine Untersuchung der Usability fehlt ebensowenig wie die Evaluation, wie gut Interessenten mit der entwickelten Lerneinheit tatsaechlich lernen koennen. Damit ist diese Entwicklung so neu, dass den meisten bereits berufstaetigen IT-Managern und sonstigen Interessierten waehrend ihrer Ausbildung ITIL noch nicht vermittelt wurde. Das Buch richtet sich vor allem an Personen, die im Bereich E-Learning taetig sind, also z. B. didaktische Konzepte entwickeln oder Lernmaterial aufbereiten. Die Vor- und Nachteile hiervon werden in diesem Buch dargestellt.
