Швеция Правительство имеет право объявить внеочередные выборы до истечения четырехлетнего срока. Мандат, полученный в результате внеочередных выборов, действителен только на оставшееся до очередных выборов время.РеферендумыПроведение референдумов допускается конституцией в двух случаях. Парламент вправе издать закон, по которому будет проведен совещательный референдум. До настоящего времени было проведено только пять совещательных референдумов; последний состоялся в ноябре 1994 года по вопросу о вступлении Швеции в Европейский Союз. В 1979 году была принята поправка к конституции, по которой референдумы, имеющие решающую силу, могут проводиться по вопросам, касающимся внесения поправок к конституции. Решение о проведении решающего референдума принимается, если за него проголосовала одна треть членов риксдага, референдум проводится одновременно с очередными всеобщими выборами.
