Гражданская война в США Kazim Bacchus Sharecroppi g - образовано от глагола o share - делиться и от слова crop - урожай. После окончания войны многие бывшие рабы и белые бедняки остались без работы, крова, земли и т.п. Те, кто имел землю, сумели выгодно использовать сложившуюся ситуацию. Была введена система издольной аренды. Суть ее состояла в том, что арендатор отдавал землевладельцу часть своего урожая. Способ образования слова: сначала из глагола o share - делиться и существительного crop - урожай путем слияния двух слов в одно возник глагол o sharecrop - "делиться урожаем" (в дословном переводе). Далее к этому глаголу прибавляется окончание -i g, которое превращает глагол в существительное и придает существительному значение системы чего-либо.
